About our Preschool
Skyline Preschool offers an enriching curriculum program that follows the Arizona State Early Learning Standards for preschool students. The school is a 5 day per week program that operates Monday-Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pm. We are a 12-month, year-round school with designated holidays and breaks for our students.
Our qualified teachers use a variety of teaching methods to instruct children every day in class. Focusing on the Arizona Early Learning Standards, our preschool staff creates daily lesson plans that will enrich your child’s curious mind and colorful imagination. Our goal is to facilitate “whole child” learning where the arts, creativity, music, character education, and social interaction are integral components of your child’s educational experience.
Teachers utilize a variety of instructional strategies to engage your child in important learning objectives. Children will learn important social skills like responsibility, respect, and self-control. Our students will also practice listening and speaking skills, print awareness, vocabulary, numbers, math operations, history, and science facts. Students learn vital health and safety practices, too, such as nutritional guidelines, the importance of physical activity, and hygiene routines. Along with these subjects, students also participate in an enriching fine arts curriculum that focuses on music, rhymes, songs, creative movement, and dramatic play activities.
Age Requirement for Children:
We accept children to our preschool who are ages 3, 4, or 5.
Children MUST be fully potty-trained to be admitted to our preschool.

ABOUT THE CLASSROOM
The 3/4’s classroom will prepare your child for educational experiences to come. We will encourage your child and create a love for learning along the way. At Skyline Preschool we will work with your child on social and emotional development, fine and gross motor skills as well as Literacy and Math concepts. We teach mini lessons on sharing, verbal communication, listening and taking turns. These are all skills that will help prepare your child for great success in school and beyond the classroom.
Our 4/5’s classroom is for children who will be going off to Kindergarten the following year. This class will prepare your child for Kindergarten, which is one of the most important stepping stones of development you can provide for your child. By providing your child with Pre-Kindergarten you are paving the path for education, support and stability for these crucial years of learning. This class focuses on Literacy and Math skills by using Engage NY and the AZ Early Learning Standards. We continue to teach social and emotional growth in our Pre-Kindergarten class.
Skyline Preschool offers Vector Prep and South Phoenix Prep & Arts students after school care for children ages 5-12. The students are dropped off to us by their classroom teacher at the end of the school day and we focus on homework completion and ensure there is enough time for fun as well! We offer our students outside time, free choice centers, games, arts & craft and mini science lessons. We also have summer camps available during the summer months.
