Physical Education is the education of and through movement. P.E. is the only subject which by the very nature of its content has the potential to affect how a person will feel every moment of everyday for the rest of his or her life.

In many reports completed throughout the United States, including a recent report by Active Living Research, it has been discovered that physical education has been substantially reduced despite the evidence that increased physical activity throughout the day does not adversely impact students academic performance but increases it in many cases. Skyline Preschool is not only dedicated to ensuring our students advance academically but benefit from increased exercise as an integral part of their school day. Physical education is achieved through involving our students in sporting activities that not only benefit them with increased physical activity and a healthier lifestyles , but also instill teamwork, competitive drive, sportsmanship and equip students with tools that will help them lead a physically active lifestyle outside the school setting.

Skyline Preschools participates in the CAA (Charter Athletic Association) and practices daily as a part of the standard school day. Students are taught sports skills, lifetime fitness, and cooperative learning concepts. These are the tools students will need to lead a physically active lifestyle. Students will have an opportunity not only to practice during the school day but compete in games as well. Games and extra practices may require additional time commitment from students. Skyline Preschool currently offers the following sports:

Spring – Varsity Coed Soccer, Junior High Coed Soccer, Softball.

Fall – Varsity Volleyball, Junior High Volleyball, Varsity Tackle Football, Junior High Flag Football.

Winter – High School Basketball, Junior High Basketball.
